The 8040MD is a conductivity-actuated control for leak and moisture detection in the oil chamber of a submersible pump motor. It is used as a warning device to indicate a seal leakage and to signal the need for preventative maintenance.
The Type MSA moisture sensor is a compact, low cost device used to detect moisture or water leakage in areas such as computer room subfloors, communication vaults, archives, sensitive storage areas, etc. It is designed for use with the Series 41 Alarm Panel but can be used with any other B/W relay.
